As a social worker with a decade of experience, I focus on how the various systems we are a part of influence our mental health. This includes larger-scale issues, such as the ecological health of our planet and the political climate, as well as smaller systems, like our family, community, or the absence of these connections. This perspective has been key in understanding that anxiety or depression often serve as normal and healthy reactions to dysfunctional systems. It important to recognize that these issues may not be your fault, but it is your responsibility to take care of yourself.
I utilize a range of therapeutic interventions, as I believe every client deserves support that is thoughtfully tailored to their unique needs. My areas of expertise include: Brainspotting, Ecotherapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am trained in Eco Therapy from The New Earth Institute of Southwestern College and Brainspotting through The Pacific Counseling and Trauma Center.

I wholeheartedly believe in this work because of the transformative power it has had in my personal life. When I’m not practicing therapy I love to ride my bike and share a pastry with my baby at a local bakery.
